Your Man Guide on Relationships: Have Great Expectations
First, I’m not a mass-produced cheesball guy, traditionally occupied by sitting at home missing the fun instead of living it up with friends. I’d bet readers probably never witnessed me ramble on great dating and relationships. That’s just me for ya.
Idleness is a fixable human characteristic and completely never written into my genetics. But I do have a tender heart. Winter of 09 was an exception, I was forced to squelch a solid cohabitation which meant a lot for us but simply deadended for both of us. So somone might go on record saying its been ages since I dated. I can’t find the Great Expectations Denver I held years ago.
I’m not used to being single. I know one thing, I can’t stay in undisturbed, devowering Star Trek Enterprise reruns. The number one reason for this bout of weekend dating boredom? This isn’t college, and everyone else is boring.
My one-time golf buddy, Jim, who has never had dating loneliness, informed me he’s almost in a similar place. He showed me these Great Expectations Reviews. Not usually my thing, but I can’t argue with introductions with sophisticated women with similar interests. So I got real about my dating life and signed up.
Keep it real, there ain’t room to grovel due to not having plans if you haven’t called anyone. As our mentor and basketball coach Chris Neelon told me with a smile, “You’re complaining to the competition, Jeff.”
I don’t know why he called me that. Even so, the old man was truly a wise sould without being self-righteous. He was likable in all ways. The care-free company offering Dallas Singles events that I attend could have blown coach’s brain.
Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I breezily chatted with some quality and attractive women that hold my interest. I actually had a carefree night with some terrific incredible men and women. Went home with a sweet farewell, and even came across some social networking acquaintances for my job. Success.
Take action. You won’t be happy if you don’t try. Listen to me and believe in your own great expectations for for your own good.
Respectfully,
Josiah
