One Priory Square has been opened in the Hastings Town Centre much to the approval of town business leaders in an attempt to bring more firms into the office space in Hastings which would boost the local business revenue.

However, chief executive of Ten Sixty Six Enterprise Ham Marley commented that the recession may overshadow the positive event given that it may be hard to fill the newly opened spaces. However, Marley went on to comment that the business centre of Hastings offers good value for the price tag and is a nice way to fill the gap in available spaces in the entire East Sussex area so the spaces may fill quicker than anticipated.

Director of AM Commercial Ltd an estate agent, Alan Canon, said that he expects when the economy picks up the area will full quickly because it is a very nice and prestigious location in the city of Hastings.

The opening of the new office space included three concerts and welcomed a showing of about 200 people. Those in attendance were able to look out over the sixth floor balcony which offers a grand scenic view of Hastings and surrounding areas.

One Priory Square is located on the corner area of Havelock Road and Priory Street and offers 44,000 sq ft of up-to-date, spacious office space with rent desk facilities over six different floors.

It was developed by Coastal Land LLP and is a joint venture that was spearheaded between The Land Group and Sea Space an economic development business.
